Georgian Home Bath

Georgian Home Bath

This project involved the complete reconfiguration of a dark, compartmentalized Victorian terrace into a light-filled family home. The design centers around a new double-height glazed atrium that acts as a 'lightwell,' pulling sunlight deep into the plan. We retained the original cornicing and fireplaces in the front reception rooms to preserve the historic character, while the rear kitchen features polished concrete floors, bespoke oak joinery, and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that dissolve the boundary between inside and out. The result is a home that respects its past while embracing modern open-plan living.

“Studio Kiri brought clarity and structure to a complex renovation, managing the process and removing decision overload. I wouldn’t have had the confidence or decisiveness to take this on without that support. Niamh created a home that truly reflects me, my family and how we live. I had no clear sense of my own style before the project, and the house now feels personal, cohesive and somewhere I’m genuinely proud to host in. It’s made me love having people over again.”
